Smoking a meatloaf this morning as my first food ever prepared with my EX4. All summer I used a WSM but never for something so simple as it just wasn't worth the fuss. I keep hearing about how good meatloaf is on a smoker so i'm looking forward to it. I'll start with SmokeBoost for 1.5-2hrs. Then set the temp to 375 until probe reads 155. Then glaze and cook an additional 15 minutes.

Exactly why I love the SF🔥
Quick And easy, ready to smoke in no time! WSM was just a lot of work for a weeknight!

Just did my first cook. Wife hugged me after lol. I’ve been talking about getting a grill for waaaaay to long to replace my Weber gasser and so far so good. Really looking forward to enjoying this bad boy! Pork butt up next!

When I do pizza is when I really wish I had the EX6 so could get two of my stones side by side on the main grate.
Have you tried the upper grate? Might get some heat reflected off the lid due to the convection action. I haven’t done a pizza yet but high in the cooker is preferred by many.
