Have any other owner/users had these brackets almost completely rust out? I only use my EX4 3 months a year and stoed in garage over winter. I follow all cleaning instructiona and take adequete care of grill.

I filed two Warranty claims and sent pictures twice. I NEVER recieved a yes or no answer from Weber, but the last reply recieved from a Weber Specialist said to look on Amazon for the parts as they are on back order.

Thanks....

Not quite sure what to make of that... wrong kind of smoke, maybe?
:ROFLMAO:

Were you able to find aftermarket or stainless-steel replacements?

No, I never looked. I just got some sent to me by Weber. They are galvanized it appears and I think a size heavier gauge, but I wouldn’t swear by it as I’m not 💯

Thank You. I cannot even find a part number for the flavorizer bars. I did have a problem with my EX6 last November and Weber really stepped up and helped me fix the problem at no cost to me, but I did have to do the physical replacement of the parts. I am still happy with my purchase.

During my repair process Weber sent me two bags of Pellets.

Same here, already replaced the flavorizers, the brackets they set in, and the stand over the burn pot.. I am currently waiting for a replacement burn pot kit that is backordered. This includes the slide, the top of the burn pot, and the small grate.

Last time I cleaned it, I found the slide not connected to the burn pot. I haven't noticed heavy gauge metal on the parts I've received. I hope they have changed that. I've been waiting almost 3 weeks for parts. Love Weber and really enjoy the smokefire, but they dropped the ball on quality this time.

Looking at those parts, I would just replace the slide for now.
The rest have some life left in them.

No way to get the screws out of the top of the burn pot or install the new ones. The grate has some life left, it was replace a couple months ago when it rotted in half.

I’ve had to replace bit the supports, and one of them them twice. Weber sent free under warranty so far. I told them I was concerned about the longevity. I know those parts are considered consumable and will need replacement over time but they need to last more than a year.

Agreed I couldn’t tell either.
