I’ve seen a few of you discuss the “burn in”. I’m assuming the Smokefire comes with instructions on how to do this. Does anyone explain what the process is? Just curious.
Not in the instructions, but with new smokers or grills I will typically rub or spray the insides of the body and grates with some sort of high flashpoint oil (e.g., peanut) prior to first seasoning. Others use something like Pam.
