I was at Lowe's yesterday buying some screw on lids for 5 gal. buckets and found this. It's supposed to be an adapter that makes a 5 gal bucket into a dust bucket. But to me it looked like an adapter for a 5 gal bucket to pour pellets out of. Used it last night and it works perfectly, especially for the elongated hopper on the Smokefire.

you must have big muscles to pick that bucket up over the barrel to pour into that hopper. I use and old tea pitcher, three of this usually fill her up pretty good

I have gone entirely to charcoal containers like the Kingsford units available on Amazon. The larger one holds 40”, or 2 bags, but the smaller has a pour chute and is very easy to use. However, I prefer to remove as much dust as possible, so normally just sift mine and put pellets into a small rubberized plastic washbasin for loading into the hopper.
