I had several issues with my EX4 gen1, not getting to temp last weekend, so I called Weber customer service. They wound up sending me "slide pellet ss hopper 24" sf20, glow plug igniter ptc sf 21, spout/tube wldmnt/auger blk sf20, glowplug/brky assy ss sf 20" to fix my issues. I installed these and the side shelf and the front shelf I got as a gift. Good thing I'm a mechanic and like tinkering. I also got a couple of free-bees from Weber for my troubles, a new probe and a bag of pellets. That was nice, just wanted to pass that along if anybody else needs to call in to customer service, don't be shy about getting a little extra something for your troubles. Just finised another cook and everything seems to be working fine. My EX4 is now a Gen2. If you need help, send me a message.

I’ve worked with tools for 26 years off and on at my job and enjoy trying to do the best possible install on Weber parts.
Weber customer service is by far the best I’ve ever dealt with in any field.
