Thanks for the welcome guys!

Here are some pics. Let me know if anything else is of interest.

Haven't had the opportunity to use it that much yet, just a small pork tenderloin to dinner last night. More advanced cooks in planning :)

Looks good especially the grill grates. Noticed the gaps around the ash drawer are still there. I've always been convinced it was a poorly made piece of equipment due to the fitting on mine. But if it's still there on the the New updated version, then it must be designed that way? :)

Thought the chromed straps on the lid would be black too? Doesn't seem like it matches the image on the box..

They are in the picture on the box! good catch. I think they were in all the preliminary photos I saw of the cooker itself. I wonder if they have some old stock they are burning through. If so, that's probably a bad idea as it will garner negative attention.

Surprising that after the rocky launch and two years of continual improvements they still haven't figured out how to catch these details before the product ships. Somebody somewhere put those parts together in that carton. Just sayin.

looks like a redesign of the hopper to allow a more consistent slide of the pellets, but pics to confirm?

Slightly pissed as I've only had my EX6 for 2months... should've waited on this.

Weber had it on their website on Jan 18 so you really just missed it...
