i preordered a EX-6 back in December from Amazon.
It was delivered today, and they sent someone to assemble it for me.
After i connected it to the app I noticed it said EX-4!
I called Amazon and long story short... they asked if I would keep the EX-4 and the took half off of the 999 price tag!!
I know there have been troubles with the grill and mine seems to have a quirk, but man.... for $498.97 I think I can live with it!
The Buddha smiled on me!
For my quirk.... i updated through the app and restarted the controller. Gave it a start and it started smoking, then it just quit at 50 degrees... I shut it off, rebooted and it started fine and got hot but it topped out at 500 degrees. It ran for an hour and it lowered to 475 and would go back up to 495 before lower back to 475, over and over. I live in Seattle, it’s chilly but it’s not cold like other places. So I am pretty sure it’s not the outside temperature killing my groove!
I will reach out to Weber tomorrow.
For half off, i think I can live with this.
Probably what it should of cost from the beginning!
If anyone has seen my quirk please let me know what I am up against!

Several forum members have had similar issues and Weber sent them a new auger. Search the forums.

Nice! That’s a good deal. I’d definitely contact Weber support as Zhatt said they have sent out new augers to some that seems to have solved their issue so far.
