Ladies and Gents, it's time for the April Smoke of the Month! This year the contest will have a specific theme every month. This month it's all about seeing Seafood! Smoked Salmon, Shrimp, Trout, Crab, Tuna, Oysters, the possibilities are endless. So don't waste another minute, get your pellet hopper filled and your SmokeFire ready! Let's see some awesome photos of your cooks!

How do I enter?
  1. Post in this thread 1 photo of your favorite cook on the SmokeFire. The photo included must be your photo! It's not required, but we prefer the photo to include your username (on a piece of paper, napkin, etc, be creative!)
  2. Include a a caption along with the photo.
  3. We will leave the contest thread open for 15 days and close it April 19th @ 10:00 AM EST.
  4. After that we will open up the voting and allow the community to vote for the winner!
  5. The winner will get to pick the theme for next month.
The winner's photo will be featured on our website and receive a special "Smoke of the Month" badge!

Dutchie did you ever get that X-T4? I picked up an X100V couple weeks ago, but yet to use it on any food pics. My lighting and prep not worth it compared to your masterpieces.

My humble entry. Mahi-Mahi. Black pepper, sea salt, and Tony’s. In the cast iron. Olive oil in pan. SF set at 420. Took about 3-5 minutes on each side. Asparagus in foiled cookie sheet along side. Made a sauce with diced onion, garlic, pepper, soy sauce, chicken broth, and heavy cream. Sauce was incredible. Chicken broth steamed rice.

Good grief...all the pics are epic. As I’ve said before...when I grow up, I want to take pics like dutchie! That all looks marvelous....well done.

Not the prettiest dish ever and photos aren't great, but boy do they taste good, Marinated Cornish Sardines, with grilled olive oil bread. Done at 425F for 5 minutes each side

Cleaned & gutted them myself as well for the first time, not pleasant but not as difficult as I have always imagined it to be
