The first scratch is always hard to look at. Think this is purely cosmetic as the sides of the grill are quite thick steel. Don't think this will ever rust out. Maybe weber will give you some kind of peace offering but I would not be concerned about running the grill. Enjoy and have fun. More...
Sure. I cooked it at 250 degrees for an hour until an internal temp of 130 degrees. Took it off the grill and heated the grill up to 525 degrees. Put it back on two minutes on each side to sear.
I have had slow recovery times in the past. And have found that ground pellets or dust partially clogged the auger. After removing and cleaning it works like new again for a while. I assume that the grill has a harder time keeping up with a slower feed due to a clogged flight on the auger. I...
The new update works poorly on Android. After initial start of the grill when I try to change temp with the app it says caution ignite grill and does not let me change Temps in the app. Grill still works fine. Also the app has a deactivate smoke boost as a option in the temp control even if not...
Agreed I would think this is a shear bolt. Reason may be to help prevent pellets and dust from clogging up around the cotter pin depending on how it is bent?
So it has bothered me for years that weber did not sell bbq's or accessories directly to canadian consumers. I was very excited to see this week that this has changed. I now can buy direct off of webers canada website. I have been eyeing up the smokefire front shelf but could not find one...
-25c and cooking a ham. A weber isulated blanket would be nice to save a few pellets but overall impressed at the performance of the smokefire in the 🥶.
Nice work. So issue seemed to have been the pit temp probe? Pretty awesome for weber to send you the controller as well. Guess you have a spare controller. The customer service will keep me as a weber for life customer.
I primarily use lumberjack or weber. Both are excellent. I have used traeger in the past and noticed more noise from the auger during use and had a auger jam once. I believe this was due to the size difference of the pellets and the amount of dust in the traeger bag. Will not buy again but if...
I dont think it matters if the glow plug touches the pellet grate or not. As long as it has a good ground connection and in contact with pellets you should see smoke.
