Anyone looking for an EX6 cover? Used outside for about 2-3 weeks before I returned the SF, but it looks new. I couldn't return it to Weber because it's used and I don't have the box. $50 and I'll ship it to you (in the US).
I didn't necessarily want to go into detail on the forum, but since you did... They offered the same to me. I didn't end up accepting, but this is how you know they mean business. They are committed to making this right for their customers even if it means sending out a new grill at their...
Totally agree, I had an awesome conf call with several folks at Weber and they are 100% committed to making this right. I didn’t want to wait for the issues to be worked out, but I am confident that they will be. One of the reasons I am still here is that I really want to see them get these...
The only knock against Grilla is the lack of wifi connectivity and an app for control/monitoring. If you can live without that, I think it's a good option. Hopefully your failures can be fixed and you won't have to worry about that.
Definitely frustrating that it happened and also that customer service is not informed before calling. However, the good part is that they are still calling and invested in figuring out what went on and making it right. Good luck!
Yeah, I watched that video. I think at this point you just have to be realistic and use a drip tray under fatty meats. It almost seems like people are trying to prove a point now. I mean, why stop at three? Surely he could have fit a couple more on there... 😖
Yeah, what's it hurt to have it come back on if it senses a loss of temp? Even if it's not needed, like you just opened the door?
Or maybe it's simply a matter of they haven't gotten to it yet? Maybe they were so behind schedule that they had to ship with only what is absolutely necessary...
Yet another thing that makes you wonder how much testing they really did with production units. Maybe the production heat deflector is not the same as what was used in development? Not a huge deal, but it is concerning when the customer service folks seem to have bad information.
You haven't...
Yeah, that really isn't a great response, but I know for a fact that Weber is working on these issues. I personally discussed it on a conf call with them. Whether what they come up with will satisfy everyone, that is to be determined.
