Weber SmokeFire Part 68935 Flavorizer bar bracket, EX-4

Are these behaving worse than the equivalent in the gas grills?

Set the grill to 525° and it only ever reaches 524 and stays there with the burners going full blast.

Since the temp it shows for the air is run through some processing before display, some software glitch seems likely - some sort of rounding error giving the 1 degree off thing. And the 600 temp staying and not fluctuating? I suspect they are just showing 600 regardless and running the grill...

Temp control while cooking a cook box full of food

I did 10 shoulders at one time on my EX6. They all finished at different times. The grill handled it better than I did. It took a while for it to get to temp with all that cold mass in there.

Weber Tech Issues Appear to be Resolved

Hijack alert: where do the felt strips go? One came out of the ash/grease drawer but Weber couldn’t identify it from my photo and now the piece is missing. This is it on the top of a food safe bucket lid.

    Meat Church Mexican Pulled Pork

Just here to say I did that for my last pork shoulder and it was enthusiastically received. We made it into tacos, and put grilled pineapple on it, and as my sons would say, it was FIRE. Do all of the seasonings to get the full effect, especially the last one. I now need to try their...

    Weber Connect 2.0

Was surprised (pleasantly) by the app update when I did a brisket yesterday. Although my grill flaming out was less ideal, it ran fine after that. Looking forward to seeing the graphs for a full cook.

SOTM November 2022 Smoke of the Month Contest Starts Now!

13ish lbs turkey, spatchcocked, dry rub with Kinder's Garlic and Herb overnight. 3-4 hours at 240-270. Tender enough I knocked a wing loose getting it off the grill.

Rails that hold up the flavorizer bars…

They tried to tell me it was because I didn't clean my grill. I pushed back and they sent me a new rail.

    Weber Kettle or PK 300/360?

So I didn't know what a PK was, so I had to go searching. Whilst perusing their website, I ran across this quote, "Portable Kitchens Inc. was a major producer of charcoal grills during the 1950s and 1960s until a fire, business issues and the unchecked proliferation of disco music halted...
