Mine just updated. Was warming it up for a long butt smoke. Not something I had planned at 3am. It would be nice if I had an option to run the update or defer to a later time.
Just got my front shelves installed. Pretty happy with this. Stainless steel, sturdy, fits like a glove. Bonus is that it holds the top grilling rack when not in use. Very easy to put together.
It's easy to get fired up when our new grill isn't working, but the support team really is great once you get to a human. I have nothing but positive things to say.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I have tried all of that. I am beginning to think it's something in the Ubiquiti settings. Have a couple more tricks I will attempt this weekend.

Yeah, my situation is the controller connects to the WiFi, but after 20 seconds, it disconnects. Every time, and every firmware version so far behaves the same. I gotta get my network hat on.
Weber sent me a new controller, hoping it would fix it. But it didn't. So back to square one.
Does this run on 2.4g? Anyone know the WiFi standard this is set for?
Also, does everyone have to set their WiFi manually or does their app provide a pick list?
